Our story

Noosa Community Gardens Inc. is a growing non-profit organisation that is all about making community connections. The garden is a place for anyone looking to relax in a peaceful environment with friendly people. Long-lasting friendships are created in these gardens, because they’re a place where people can come together over a mutual passion for gardening and camaraderie. We are a true community garden, because whatever is grown in our garden is harvested and shared amongst us all. Not only do we get fresh produce as a result of the handy work of our members, but we also have a place to socialize and unwind. The well-being of our members is just as important to us as the that of our community’s garden. This means that each morning that we meet at the Tait Duke Cottage in Tewantin, we always make sure to sit around the table together for a chat and cup of morning tea.
